Chloe Yousling
Chloe is a second year studying Biology and concentrating in anatomy and physiology. Someday she wants to work with children as a Pediatric Physical Therapist in areas where there is limited access to healthcare in the United States or elsewhere. Through this project, she hopes to grow in awareness of the Malawi culture and to become more innovative. She enjoys cooking with friends, hiking, sewing and reading.
Peyton From
Peyton is a third-year Business major from Roseville, California. He is an avid golfer and is planning on starting his career in public accounting after getting a degree. His experience with development is limited by his interest in continuing the solar cooker project for communities in Malawi.
Fauve Koontz
Fauve is a second-year switching her major to Journalism from Animal Science. Her relationship with developmental technologies has been fairly limited so far. However, through this project, she is hoping to develop one along with a greater understanding and appreciation for sustainability. Some of her interests include writing, reading, sports, the outdoors and animals.
Micah Quintana
Micah is a third-year Physics major minoring in Mathematics concerned with sustainable technologies. His vision is to implement his knowledge of these renewable energies to create a solar cooker that can feed many people at once, thus decreasing the need for carbon-based fuel in cooking that creates pollutants in the air. His hobbies are going to the beach with friends, shooting pool, and experiencing nature.
